Visualization of Water-Steam Two-Phase Bubble Evaporating in a Liquid-Metal Pool

摘要：
A water droplet evaporating in a liquid-metal pool was visualized by using Neutron radiography. Measurements of drag coefficient of a single two-phase bubble showed that the relationship between the rising velocities of a single two-phase bubble in the molten Newton's alloy was not much different from that for an ordinary one. The growth rate of a two-phase bubble was also measured to determine the interfacial heat transfer coefficient in a molten alloy-water system. Experimental results show little dependency of interfacial superheat on the overall heat transfer coefficient.
