摘要
A simple channel estimator for UWB transmitted reference system is developed by exploiting the properties of wavelet analysis. Different from conventional TR system, which conducts correlation with an analogy device and samples the signal at sub-Nyquist rate, however at the cost of performance, the proposed receiver firstly samples the received signal at a higher rate, and then passes the discrete signal through a low pass filter which is one branch of the quadrature mirror filter banks. The channel estimator ultimately reduces to this low pass filter and an additional averaging process block. The filter not only suppresses the noise contained in signals but also approximates the composite channel pulse response. Simulation results show that the approach performs
