摘要：

A new species Erythraeus (Erythraeus) layyahensis (Acari: Erythraeidae) is described from larvae collected from weed plants Setaria viridis L. fom district Layyah, Punjab, Pakistan. This new species belongs to species group of subgenus Erythraeus (Erythraeus) having 3-3-3 basifemoral setal formula.
