摘要
In this paper we propose a novel method to verify biometric smart cards and aadhaar ids in huge databases by using the power of the Graphics processing unit (GPU). We have shown that 9-digit, to-digit and 12-digit numbers, with millions of combinations can be verified ranging from seconds to minutes on NVIDIA graphics cards GeForce GT 525M and GeForce GTX 650 Ti BOOST. We use the technique of verifying by calculating hashes (MD5 and SHA-256) for the biometric template or the smart card number.
