摘要：

A verrciform xanthoma occurring within lichen planus on the lateral aspect of the tongue in a 68-year-old Japanese woman is reported. The features suggest that the condition of altered epithelial turnover, as in repeated epithelial desquamation, may cause the verruciform xanthoma.
