ORAL TESTIMONIES ABOUT INRA (1960-1962) AND CUBA (1962-1969): THEIR INSERTION IN THE TRAINING COURSE FOR LIBRARIANS

The teaching experience that is reviewed is based on the investigations "Incidence in the INRA magazine of communication mediators and the sociopolitical-media environment of the years 1960-1962 " and "Cuba magazine: its distinctive features and communication mediators in the historical context of the period 1962-1969 ". Simultaneous methodological triangulation was applied in these studies, combining various quantitative and qualitative methods. In particular, through semi-structured interviews, valuable testimonies were obtained from nine intellectuals who collaborated on these publications during the 1960s. Fragments of his interventions were included in the course "The collections of Cuban magazines of the sixties as bibliographic sources for the study of the country's history. " Its first edition was aimed at school librarians in the Plaza de la Revolucion municipality. The article lists some of the contributions of the oral testimonies of the interviewees, both to research and to the enrichment of the knowledge of the students on facts, personalities and Cuban magazines of that important period of the history of the nation. The videos, combined with other educational materials that were delivered to the librarians, will favor the organization of their teaching activities dedicated to preserving the historical memory of the nation in the younger generation.
