摘要
The results of investigations concerning reactivity in the solid state between some rare-earth metal oxides Ln2O3 and selected sulfates(VI) of d-electron metals were presented. New basic crystallographic parameters, IR spectra and thermal properties of (LnO)2SO4 (Ln=Y, La, Nd, Sm-Gd, Dy-Er) were given. The reaction of Lu2 with MSO4 does not lead to (LuO)2SO4. (LnO) 2SO4 are isostructural compounds and crystallize in the ortorhombic system. Oxysulfates(VI) of rare-earth metals undergoes thermal decomposition to the corresponding Ln2O3. The thermal stability of (LnO)2SO4 is decreasing from La to Er.
