摘要
Simulations of grain growth in two-dimensional polycrystalline aggregates which are characterized by the anisotropy of grain boundary energy and mobility were conducted by a vertex model. In some cases the non-uniformity of grain boundary energies and mobilities appears to have a significant influence not only on the local dynamic behavior of the boundary motion (e.g. wetting), but also on the overall characteristics of grain growth. It may be necessary to incorporate these anisotropic features of grain boundary in order to simulate grain growth in real materials.
