摘要
Graphite has been used as the anode far a lithium ion battery. It shows high reversible Lithium intercalate capacity and a flat voltage output near zero volts (vs. Li). However, there are some problems, such as slow lithium ion diffusion rate and poor compatibility with electrolyte solutions. In this work, a coke/graphite composite with core-shell structure has been manufactured. The disordered coke shell will protect the graphite core from exfoliation and improve the diffusion rate of lithium ions into the composite particles. This core/shell composite carbon anode shows high capacity, excellent kinetics and good compatibility with electrolyte solutions in comparison with naked graphite anode.
