摘要
In this paper, we propose a modified version of corrugated rectangular slow-wave structure (SWS) for sub-millimeter or terahertz vacuum electron traveling wave tube (TWT) devices. This modified SWS has larger transverse dimensions compare to the original SWS, and it can support either the rectangular beam or the circular beam. Therefore, it can remove the need for the sheet beam which is a challenge for engineering the electron gun. The SWS is defined for 400 GHz central frequency TWT amplifier. The cold circuit parameters are calculated using CST studio commercial software.
