摘要
After organizing undergraduates to accept outward bound in the form of courses, changes are inspected in their self-concept. This study adopts pretest and post-test of the experimental group and the reference group, experiment design and Tennessee Self Concept Scale was taken as a measuring tool. The experiment results show-first, there are significant differences in the outcome of post-test between the experimental group and the reference group; second, there are also differences between pre-test and post-test in both groups; third, the analysis of covariance in pre-test also shows remarkable difference between the two groups. As a result, it is proved that the designed outward bound in this study is an effective way to improve undergraduates' self-concept and could be applied to mental health education and mental disease prevention in colleges.
