摘要
This paper presented a zero-ripple input current boost converter for high-gain applications. First, the input dc source, clamp capacitor, and voltage doubler cell are connected in series to transfer energy for the load, so the proposed converter can produce a very high voltage and high conversion efficiency. Second, through theoretical analysis, a small auxiliary inductance was added to the input of the boost converter for achieving zero-ripple input current. Moreover, the energy in the leakage inductance can be effectively recycled. The voltage doubling rectifying unit can effectively reduce the resonance between the leakage inductance and the junction capacitance of the output diode. Details of the working principle and steady analysis of the proposed converter are introduced. At last, an experimental prototype is built to verify the correctness of the theoretical analysis.
