A numerical simulation is performed of the entry of a compression wave into a conical chamber filled with a hydrogen-air mixture, It is demonstrated that the use in two-dimensional hydrodynamic codes of a simplified model of combustion with a fitting coefficient for concrete geometry enables one to predict the experimental results with fair adequacy.
