摘要
Density and ultrasonic velocity of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid and its complexes with Mg(II), Ca(II), Sr(II), Zn(II), Cd(II) and Hg(II) have been measured in water at 303.15 K. The apparent molar volume, adiabatic compressibility, apparent molar compressibility, partial molar volume and partial molar compressibility have been calculated and analyzed using the Jones-Dole equation. The results are discussed in the light of solute-solvent interaction and structural effects on the solvent in solution.
