摘要
A route has been developed to prepare 3,9-dibromo-6-aryl-5H-dibenzo[d,f][1,3]diazepine derivatives which undergo facile Suzuki coupling to generate extended conjugated moieties bearing this unit. Single crystal X-ray studies on three of the coupled products provide valuable information on the conformation and bulk packing of these materials.(C) 2013 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
