摘要
The paper presents the electric traction system of main line of two-unit freight diesel locomotives. There was offered the modernization of a combined system of diesel engine start-up and a power supply for consumers of an on-board network using a synchronous machine in the starter/generator mode, which allows to increase efficiency of a locomotive electrical equipment usage. There were pointed out the ways of improvement of a regular axle control in order to increase traction and power characteristics of diesel locomotives. Suggested solutions improve the traction and anti-slip locomotive characteristics by modernizing the traction transmission system and an electrical equipment microprocessor control algorithms.
