New frequency converters cut the operating costs of vapor ventilators

Frequency converters offer many advantages, particularly in the operation of hydrodynamic machines, such as pumps, ventilators and compressors. They save a lot of energy, especially in running at less than full load, and at the same time their gentle speed changes are easier for the entire installation. These advantages can be effectively exploited with the new Sinamics G150 frequency converters which are specifically tailored in their technical design for hydrodynamic machines, dispense with unnecessary functions and are simple in construction and operation. The equipment is already being deployed in many different applications, among them as drives for vapor ventilators in the sugar industry.
