摘要
In this paper, a new image sequence compression scheme combining wavelet with fractal is presented. It adopts the coding structure similar to MPEG's except replacing DCT transform with wavelet transform, and uses fractal prediction for I-frames. This scheme is successful in compressing digital TV sequences.
