Electrical Properties and Current-Voltage Behavior of BFO-PVA Nanocomposite Film

摘要
Multiferroic Bismuth Ferrite (BiFeO3) nanoparticles of average particle size 20 nm and 1.0 wt% Bismuth Ferrite-Polyvinyl Alcohol (BFO-PVA) nanocomposite film were synthesized by sol-gel process. XRD analysis and FESEM study of BFO NPs and BFO-PVA nanocomposite film have been done. Electrical properties of BFO-PVA nanocomposite film have been investigated to explore the reinforcement ability of Bismuth Ferrite in the PVA matrix. Relative permittivity and AC conductivity study have also been studied here at different frequencies above room temperatures. Current-voltage study of BFO-PVA nanocomposite film exhibits hysteresis loop under +/- 20 V applied voltage. (C) 2019 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
