LUIGI FIRPO AND THE INDEXES OF CAMPANELLA

The indexes of Campanella's Opera omnia occupy a special place among Luigi Firpo's works on the philosopher. This contribution gives a brief presentation of the indexes with a view of highlighting their importance. It also contains an edition of the Index instauratarum scientiarum, published in 1638 as an appendix to Campanella's Philosophia rationalis. The text of the Index is accompanied by annotations referring to the most recent editions of the works cited.
