Low temperature sintering of BaTiO3 ceramics

摘要
There are relatively rare reports on the electrical properties of fine-grained ceramics due to the practical problems in sintering dense ceramics with fine microstructure. Lowing sintering temperature is a way to solve this problem. A new sintering method Spark Plasma Sintering (SPS), is demonstrated for the study of superfine BaTiO3 ceramics. Dense ceramics with average grain size of near 200nm are obtained at 900 degrees C wing SPS. The dielectric characteristics ave measured in the paper The varieties of dielectric characteristics with grain size are explained.
