摘要：

The article presents an experimental study of crystalline phase changes in a polyethylene membrane at different zones of the polymeric shell. The experiment was carried out through thickness by applying a special device, where a disc-shaped specimen (R = 28.2 mm) was extended to critical value by spherical punches (r = 14.25 mm and 19.85 mm). The specimen thickness was measured at the characteristic points after a sustained loading with a thickness gauge. X-ray diffraction was used to investigate structural changes in the polyethylene membrane. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
