摘要
A self-healing WDM-PON architecture with broadcasting services was proposed in this paper. In this scheme, the network cannot only transmit the broadcasting services, but also have the self-healing ability when there is a fault happening on feeder fiber and distributed fiber. The proposed system can support 150 ONUs under the common state with Fiber Raman Amplifier (FRA). What is more, the protection method in the scheme is realized by duplicating fibers and using optical switches, thus decreasing the cost of the architecture. (C) 2012 Elsevier GmbH.
