Coercivity mechanism of sputtered NdDyFeB films on W/Si(111)

摘要
Nd(Dy)FeB/W/Si(1 1 1) films were prepared by DC magnetron sputtering. Magnetization reversal process of the Nd(Dy)FeB films was found to be dominated by strong domain-wall pinning as elucidated using the Gaunt model. The maximum pinning energy (fb) of the him is equal to 2.57 x 10(-11) erg. Thermal activation volume is 1.41 x 10(-18) cm(3) measured by magnetic viscosity. Random-inhomogeneous pinning sites is explained more explicitly by HRTEM microstructure observation. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
