Testicular exstrophy: Bilateral presentation in a newborn

摘要：

Congenital testicular exstrophy is an extremely rare developmental anomaly of the position of the testis. While extrusion of the testes secondary to trauma or idiopathic causes has been described, a literature review revealed only 3 previous cases of congenital testicular exstrophy, including 2 testes on the right side and 1 on the left side.(1-3) To our knowledge we report the first case of bilaterally exstrophied testes presenting at birth.
