摘要
A robust digital SAR signal simulator is presented and its ability to generate realistic clutter evaluated. The simulator uses a discrete scattering model to represent the scene to be imaged. When the scatterers follow a gamma distribution with known correlations, it is observed from Monte Carlo simulations that the intensity image generated from the simulated data follows the empirical K model with predictable correlation. The variation between the order parameter of the gamma-distributed scatterers and the observed K-distributed clutter is shown to increase with the scatterer density.
