摘要
This review provides an introduction to second-harmonic generation (SHG) and an overview of zeolites and metal-organic frameworks as nonlinear optical materials. It furthermore demonstrates how SHG macro- and microscopy can be a powerful tool to probe adsorption, diffusion and organization of guest molecules in microporous materials. (C) 2012 Elsevier Inc.
