摘要：

DDS(Direct Digital Synthesis) is a new frequency synthesis technology. In this paper, the realization of DDS based on programmable devices is introduced. A new method to realize frequency modulation by changing frequency-tuning word was proposed. Frequency sweep, FM, FSK modulation are analyzed and designed respectively. Supporting experiments and applications are presented.
