摘要
Lentil cells have been subjected to simulated hypogravity (by clinorotation) or hypergravity (by centrifugation), in order to investigate the effect of the gravistimulus on membrane Lipids and polyamine content. It is shown that the activity and expression of lipoxygenase, a membrane-related enzyme, decreased down to 60% of the Ig control under hypogravity and increased up to 160% under hypergravity. The activity of amine oxidase, which is responsible for polyamine catabolism, was decreased down to 80% of the Ig control by hypogravity and was not affected by hypergravity. The oxidative index of the esterified fatty acids fraction of membrane Lipids increased up to 150% of the Ig control under hypergravity, whereas it was not significantly affected by hypogravity. Finally, a decreased content of free putrescine (down to 33% of the Ig control) was observed in hypogravity, whereas free spermidine and spermine were not affected. Free putrescine, spermidine and spermine were not affected by hypergravity either.
