摘要
An approach to modeling a resonant meander-line attenuator of helical slow-wave structure for a traveling-wave tube is presented that uses eigen-mode solver in HFSS. The dispersion, interaction impedance and attenuation characteristics of the structure in the presence of the resonant attenuator were predicted using the model and were validated against experimental results, published elsewhere.
