摘要：

The Charcot foot or Charcot neuroarthropathy (ON) is a rare, but complex and often misdiagnosed complication of diseases causing peripheral neuropathy, like diabetes. Early recognition and treatment can prevent complications like ulcers and amputations. This article provides a review of the current evidence base and offers a pathway for treatment.
