Isochoric specific heat and anharmonicity for liquid potassium

摘要
The frequency spectrum of oscillations of liquid potassium atoms at the temperatures 340, 440 and 550 K was previously obtained from experimental data on inelastic neutron scattering. The dependence of the frequency spectrum on temperature has been revealed. Using this dependence the isochoric specific heat, C-V, is calculated and compared with known data. To improve the situation the diffusion, anharmonic, and configurational contributions are considered. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
