摘要
The paper presents numerical simulation of electron gun of traveling-wave tube (TWT). New emission model for the simulation of electron gun limited by space charge has been developed and implemented in the program TWT Gun Simulation and Design (TGSD), which is a new two-dimensional finite-element code developed in MATLAB, for the simulation and design of axially symmetric electron guns of TWTs. The simulated results of an L-band TWT gun had satisfactory agreement with the experimental measurements. (C) 2012 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
