摘要：

The asymptotic behaviour of solutions of a higher order linear difference equations was studied. The asymptotic behaviour of its characteristics equation exhibiting real roots was classified completely using nonsingular matrix. An explicit expression in terms of the initial conditions for the solutions tending to an equilibrium point was provided.
