摘要
The "classical" seesaw mechanism assumes that the scale of lepton number violation (LNV) is very large, possibly comparable to the GUT scale. However, it is possible that the LNV scale is of the order of (a few) TeV. In this case rich phenomenology for experiments at the LHC is expected. In this talk, I present some recent results, both theoretical and experimental, related to such low-scale models of LNV. The three standard seesaws and recent experimental results for left-right symmetric models are discussed. Then, the relation between 0 nu beta beta decay and LNV searches at the LHC is outlined. Finally, it is mentioned that observation of LNV at the LHC would constrain severly high-scale leptogenesis models.
