摘要：

The definition and basic features of E-city are proposed. The current domestic and international circumstances of E-city are analyzed. The general system architecture model of the construction of E-city in Shanghai is brought forward from these 5 aspects: convenience, collaboration, share, security and openness. The engineering practices of the construction of E-city in Shanghai and its prospect of further development are introduced.
