Potential formation between different plasmas along the magnetic mirror field

摘要
Using a two-and-half dimensional electrostatic particle simulation code, a formation of electric potential difference beta een different plasmas along the magnetic mirror field is investigated. When different plasmas are in contact with the magnetic mirror field, potential difference is generated along the magnetic field. The potential difference increases as the electron perpendicular temperature of the hot plasma as well as the electron parallel temperature increases.
