摘要
Reversed phase liquid chromatography (RP-LC) is still one of the most efficient analytical techniques for separation of complex biologically active analytes, including proteins and peptides. However, the separation of those analytes is not easy to perform in practice. Therefore, the appropriate optimization of the separation conditions is necessary. The aim of the study was to explore the influence of acetyl and amide groups in peptides on their retention in gradient elution reversed phase LC. Moreover, the investigation regards the influence of temperature and gradient time for such peptides. Those results were suggested in view of their usefulness in predictions of peptides RP-LC retention on the basis of quantitative structure retention relationships for proteomic research.
