Variation in Temperature Distribution of Die from Unsteady to Steady States in Hot-Forging of Car Front-Wheel-Hub

摘要
In order to design and manufacture dies in hot-forging of car front-wheel-hubs, it was necessary to calculate the distributions of temperature, stress and strain under real working conditions. This paper simulated the whole working process in hot forging of front-wheel-hubs of cars by DEFORM-2D program. The temperature distribution varying from unsteady to steady states was simulated. The variable parameter was analyzed quantitatively. The corresponding relationship and difference of temperature distribution between the unsteady and steady states were revealed.
