摘要：
The foundation pit of Shanghai Meilongzhen Plaza is large and deep. It is located in downtown area of Nanjing Road and surrounded by complex environment. It is called by professional people as "the first pit in west of Huangpu river". So the monitoring in foundation pit excavation is specially important. This paper presents the mode used in monitoring of foundation pit exterior protection including monitoring plan, measuring methods, and analysis of phenomena found in monitoring.
