The new genus Sthenaropsidea is established to accommodate Sthenarus mcateei Knight, known from eastern United States, and the new genus Gonoporomiris is established for Demarata mirifica Distant, previously known from Veracruz, Mexico, and newly reported from Grand Bahama Island, the Dominican Republic, and Florida in the United States. Provided are illustrations of the male genitalia, adult dorsal and lateral photographs, new distribution records, and a discussion of relationships.
