摘要
The paper shows the promising application of irradiation with Fe7+ ions for directional modification of structural characteristics of nickel nanotubes and increasing the resource lifetime. According to x-ray diffraction data, the main structural changes for samples irradiated with Fe7+ ions are associated with the formation of low intense peaks characteristic of the FeNi compound. Also, the presence of an impurity phase creates additional dislocation defects that prevent degradation of the structure during lithiation, and increases the resource time by 1.7 times. According to the data obtained, a sharp decrease in the capacity is due to the degradation of nanostructures morphology and their partial destruction, which is caused by an increase in macrostresses and amorphous inclusions in the structure. For modified nanostructures, which are characterized by the presence of a large dislocation density, which prevents oxidation, the degree of surface degradation is much lower, which leads to an increase in the lifetime of nanomaterials.
