摘要
This paper covers the results of development and application of mathematical models for the description of major coupling hydrodynamic and thermophysical processes in the containment of a nuclear pou er plant (NPP). Some results are presented for the first stage of a project aimed at the development of a three-dimensional (3D) code named CONTAS (CONTainment Atmosphere Simulation) with extended possibilities for obtaining greater insight into the phenomena occurring in the containment volume during foreseeable accidents and at normal operation of a NPP with the light water reactors (LWR). The processes considered include momentum and heat transfer in the gas-vapor-aerosol mixture, turbulent phenomena, wall condensation in the presence of noncondensable gases, transport and deposition of aerosols and droplets. and film flow. The proposed models and released versions of the CONTAS code were applied for two- and three-dimensional predictions of above mentioned processes in the containment of a new nuclear power plant unit with WWER-500.
