摘要
This research work focuses on the dielectric and magneto-capacitance behavior of (1-X) BaTiO3 - X (CoFe2O4/ZnFe2O4/Co0.5Zn0.5Fe2O4) (where X= 20, 30 and 40 wt%) composites and the results are compared among prepared composites based on the type of ferrite used. The ferrite based magnetodielectric composites have been prepared via auto combustion derived in-situ synthesis method. The sintered (1150 degrees C) composites have homogeneous microstructure in which both BaTiO3 and ferrite phases along with barium hexa-ferrite (BaFe12O19) are nearly same in size. In addition to homogeneous microstructure, the concentration and the intrinsic properties of ferrites along with BaFe12O19 has noticeable effect on the permittivity, dielectric loss and P-E hysteresis loop of individual composites. Also, magneto-capacitance response either in the positive or negative direction in the homogeneous microstructure of BaTiO3-ferrite composite systems depends on the intrinsic properties as well as the concentration of the ferrite and barium hexa-ferrite phases. The origin of magneto-capacitance of these composite systems was discussed based on magneto-impendence versus frequency curve and Cole-Cole plot. Negative magneto-capacitance percentage and having highest (-8.4%) among prepared composites was observed in the cobalt ferrite based composites. Positive and negative magneto-capacitance responses were observed in both zinc and cobalt-zinc ferrite based composites. The improved magneto-capacitance in these composite systems may be suitable for different applications. (C) 2019 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
