摘要
High temperature vulcanized (HTV) silicone rubber is widely employed as external insulating material for outdoor insulators of transmission lines. Recently, for highly explode risk of ceramic bushings in substations, HTV silicone rubber is considered to take the place of ceramics as bushing materials for power and current transformers. However, as the main insulation of transformers is constituted of oil-impregnated paper, electrical properties of HTV silicone rubber maybe effected by mineral oil. In this paper, we will study the effect of mineral oil on hydrophobic recovery and flashover voltage of HTV silicone rubber under thermal and AC corona discharge aging, in order to get suggestions for substation-use HTV silicone rubber.
