摘要
The properties of photonic crystals (PC) based microcavities fabricated on InP suspended membranes were analyzed to investigate the coupling between microresonators and optical waveguides. The characterization based on diffracted photoluminescence (PL) investigated the influence of PC surface air filling factor on spectral properties of PC defect cavities. The group velocity and propagation losses of modes on waveguides formed along defect cavities were also measured. Plane wave method used for comparison suggested that the results were in good agreement with the theoretical calculations.
