摘要
Since many years there is significant growth in wireless communication. The Quality of Service (QoS) is among one of most important consideration to support good variety of applications that includes video streaming, video conferencing etc. that utilizes most nehvork resources. This paper mainly focuses on energy efficient routing (EER) protocols as implemented in Ad-hoc Networks. In this paper we use various metrics to test Quality of Service (QoS). The main motive of Energy efficient routing protocols id to reduce power consumption over traditional ones. We can determine lifetime of an energy-constrained sensor by how rapidly the sensor consumes energy. A node is of no use when its battery dies. Thus, Researchers are focusing on development of new routing mechanisms for sensor networks to save energy and enhance the sensor lifespan
