摘要
This study was conducted, at Ataturk Central Horticultural Research Institute between the years of 1996 and 1998, to determine the compatibility status of 2 dried ('Kabaasi', 'Hacihaliloglu') and 5 table apricot cultivars ('Aprikoz', 'Karacabey', 'Beliana', 'Rouge du Roussillon', 'Jaubert Foulon') grafted on 2 seedling ('apricot' and 'Nemaguard') and 3 clonal Prunus rootstocks ('Myrobalan GF-31', 'Kayisi Erigi' and, 'Pixy') at early stage of growth. 1, 4, and 16 months after grafting, longitudinal and transverse sections of graft unions were examined under microscope to observe developments and differentiation in tissues. The best graft unions were obtained from the combinations of apricot seedling and 'Kayisi Erigi' with all apricot cultivars, except 'Beliana'/'Kayisi Erigi' combination. 'Beliana'/'Kayisi Erigi', 'Kabaasi'/'GF-31', 'Aprikoz'/GF-31', 'Kabaasi'/ 'Nemaguard', 'Aprikoz'/'Nemaguard', 'Karacabey'/'Nemaguard', and all apricot combinations with 'Pixy' gave moderate grafting union. Some incompatibility problems occurred with 'Jaubert Foulon'/'Nemaguard', 'Hacihaliloglu'/'GF-31' and 'Jaubert Foulon'/'GF-31' combinations. However 'Hacihaliloglu'/'Nemaguard', 'Beliana'/'Nemaguard', 'Rouge du Roussillon'/'Nemaguard', 'Beliana'/'GF-31', 'Rouge du Roussillon'/'GF-31', and 'Karacabey'/'GF-31' combinations were determined to be fully incompatible. The most vigorous rootstocks were apricot seedlings, 'Kayisi Erigi', 'Myrobalan GF-31, and 'Nemaguard', respectively. The effect of 'Pixy' on growth as rootstock was found to be weak. http://www.actahort.org/members/showpdf?booknrarnr=701_22
