摘要
Lanthanum manganite-lanthanum cobaltite solid solutions (LaMn1-xCoxO3) have been investigated as probable candidates of cathode material for solid oxide fuel cells. A single step solution combustion process has been used for the preparation of LaMn1-xCoxO3 solid solutions using corresponding metal nitrates and tetraformal trisazine (TFTA). Formation and homogeneity of the solid solutions have been confirmed by powder X-ray diffraction (XRD) and energy-dispersive X-ray analysis (EDAX). Sintering, linear thermal expansion and direct current electrical conductivity measurements of LaMn1-xCoxO3 have been carried out. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
