摘要：
Within the anaerobic wastewater treatments the UASB (Upflow Anaerobic Sludge Blanket) technology permits to obtain high conversion capacities with both short hydraulic and long sludge residence times. This work was carried out to evaluate the possibility to apply this process to wastewater from the wine industry and to evaluate its performances. This kind of sewage is very rich in organic matter and the COD load treated in the reactor is converted in biogas with a high percentage of methane. This production permits to heat the reactor to the optimum temperature during the warm period.
